Our Nature’s Spa Bath and Body collection features four new essential oil blends brimming with powerful properties for mind and body, as well as a cocktail of natural botanical actives to help reveal beautiful skin. With the help of Jo Kellett, our essential oil expert, these beautiful contemporary aromatherapy blends each have their own aroma personality, deeply indulging your wellbeing no matter which blend you choose.
Mandarin and May Chang, with Lime and Black Pepper.
Behind the blend: “This vibrant blend is mostly composed of citrus essential oils which are uplifting and reviving. The delicate hint of Lime and Black Pepper brings warmth and gentle subtlety to the blend, while the brighter top notes of the citrus family emulate sparkling sunshine.
Mandarin has a wonderful, sweet scent, which is then enhanced and uplifted with the addition of May Chang, with its zesty, sherbet lemon aroma. Unlike other citrus oils, which are expressed from the peel of the fruit, May Chang is distilled from the small pepper-like fruits of the Litsea cubeba tree, native to China.
Simply inhaling this blend will make you feel good, encouraging vibrance and positivity.”
Lavender and Neroli, with Peppermint and Geranium.
Behind the blend: “This charming blend pairs the familiar aromas of Lavender and Peppermint, combined with velvety Neroli and balancing Geranium – fresh, but rich and cleansing with a hint of floral.
Neroli is distilled from the deeply scented blossoms of the orange tree. This aroma brings beautiful creamy and sweet notes to the blend which I knew would complement and almost modernise Lavender while not completely concealing its identity.
Lavender, Neroli and Geranium are all considered excellent skin tonics, nourishing, balancing and restorative for the skin while gently uplifting and soothing your mood. The light touch of Peppermint running throughout this blend will deliver a tingling vitality boost.
Working together, this beautiful blend will leave you feeling calm and content.”
Rose and Ylang Ylang, with Lemon and Palmarosa.
Behind the blend: “This sultry blend captures the indulgence of Rose and Ylang Ylang with their opulent base notes, while the top note of Lemon delivers a hint of brightness to lift the blend and the sweetness of Palmarosa enhances the floral aroma.
As one of the most expensive oils, you need hundreds of flower heads to extract just one drop of Rose essential oil. Known as the ‘Queen of Oils’, its scent is synonymous with sensuality and femininity. Ylang Ylang comes from a tree that grows on the tropical islands of the Indian Ocean. Its sublime aroma is powerful and exotic. For me, these flower oils are the epitome of luxury.
This empowering blend brings a sense of indulgence, helping you feel inspired and euphoric.”
Sandalwood and Bergamot, with Vetiver and Orange.
Behind the blend: “This sophisticated blend of comforting Sandalwood and Bergamot is complemented with the deepness of Vetiver and gentle familiarity of Orange which will envelop you in a hug of contentment.
Combining essential oils from the wood and root families allows you to take a moment to reflect, feel calm and enjoy a sense of stillness. Above those wonderful base notes you will find the top notes of Bergamot and Orange with hints of Neroli, bringing a sense of optimism to the blend.
All the essential oils in this blend have a long association with reducing feelings of unease and encouraging emotional stability. This blend will help evoke a renewed sense of holistic wellbeing for mind and body.”
