Product Details

Known for its sharp, fresh scent with medicinal and camphor-like notes and a hint of sweet woodiness, Tea Tree essential oil can help to renew depleted energy levels and restore optimism. Its powerful anti-microbial qualities make it a great choice for cleansing oily and congested skin, and it can also provide relief from respiratory discomfort.

Emotionally
Tea Tree’s crisp, refreshing scent can help to clear the mind, restore optimism, and give you a boost of energy when you need it most.

Physically
Tea Tree has strong anti-microbial properties, which make it an excellent choice for cleansing oily and congested skin, and soothing common skin problems. It’s a popular ingredient in skincare products for teens, and can be used to help treat fungal infections like athlete’s foot. It can also support immune health and relieve symptoms of sinusitis and other respiratory complaints.

Around the home
Tea Tree is a natural choice for cleaning and freshening your home. Add a drop to a cloth when wiping surfaces for a deodorising effect, or put a couple of drops inside your trainers after exercise to keep them fresh and bacteria-free.

Our Organic Tea Tree essential oil has a strong and refreshing medicinal aroma with a bracing sharpness.

Aromatically, Tea Tree is a middle note essential oil, the main body and balance of a blend, meaning its scent will last a few hours. It blends well with Eucalyptus, Lemon or Rosemary.

The Tea Tree, which is a member of the Myrtaceae (Myrtle) family, is native to Australia and is known for producing one of the most popular essential oils worldwide. According to historical records, the Tea Tree received its name because sailors used it as tea during the 18th century under the leadership of Captain Cook as he crossed the Pacific Ocean. He had observed the indigenous population of Australia using the leaves as medicine and decided to follow suit.

Over the years, Tea Tree has become a widely used household remedy, with the industry producing hundreds of kilograms of Tea Tree annually. It is also a popular ingredient in skincare products.
