Product Details

Eucalyptus essential oil has a strong, medicinal aroma that can stimulate mental clarity, improve concentration and uplift the mood. Invigorating for the senses, it’s also a popular choice for supporting the body through the symptoms of cold and flu.

Emotionally

Eucalyptus can help to lift mental fatigue and bring clarity to the mind. It’s often used to clear emotional tension, restore focus and support a more positive, balanced mindset. It’s a popular choice for people who are feeling mentally foggy, low in energy or weighed down by stress.

Physically

Eucalyptus is a well-known decongestant. It can be used to ease the symptoms of sinusitis and other respiratory complaints when inhaled. It’s also valued for its rejuvenating properties and is a popular choice for massage blends to help soothe tired joints and muscles, and even support circulation. It’s widely used to support physical recovery and overall wellbeing.

Around the home

Due to its anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, Eucalyptus is a key essential oil to keep in your cleaning cupboard. To purify and cleanse your home’s floors and surfaces, add a few drops of Eucalyptus essential oil to hot water before cleaning. Alternatively, add a couple of drops to the bottom of your bins to keep them smelling fresh.

Eucalyptus is also great at removing the glue residue left behind by stickers and labels on glass and other shiny surfaces. Just add 2 drops to a tissue and wipe the residue away. Always conduct a patch test on an inconspicuous area before using Eucalyptus on large surfaces.

Eucalyptus essential oil offers a light and fresh, medicinal aroma.

Aromatically, Eucalyptus is a top note essential oil. It’s the first oil you will smell in a blend. It blends well with Grapefruit, Peppermint or Rosemary.

The blue gum (Eucalyptus globulus) is a species of Eucalyptus that belongs to the Myrtaceae plant family, which has over 600 varieties. Originally native to Australia, this tree is now found in many countries, including Spain, China and Portugal. These trees can grow up to 90 metres tall and are recognisable by their silvery blue-green leaves and greyish bark. The leaves of this tree are rich in Eucalyptol, with the essential oil itself containing around 70% eucalyptol. The native populations of Australia and New Zealand have used this tree's leaves for centuries as a herbal medicine to treat fever and infections.
