As an insect repellent

Citronella is an effective natural insect repellent. To help keep insects at bay, dilute a few drops in a blending oil and apply to exposed areas of skin, avoiding the face. You can also add it to your Aroma Spa or diffuser to deter flying insects around the home.

Aromatically, Citronella is a top note essential oil. It’s the first oil you will smell in a blend. It blends well with Orange, Frankincense or Lime.
Native to Sri Lanka, this lemon scented grass is a close relative to Lemongrass and Palmarosa.
