Himalayan Cedarwood is derived from the Cedrus deodara tree, native to the Himalayan region of India. The tree’s name comes from the Sanskrit word “devadāru,” meaning “wood of the gods,” reflecting its long-standing cultural and spiritual significance.
Historically, Cedarwood has been valued for its grounding aroma and preservative qualities, and was traditionally used in temples and ceremonial spaces to promote calm, focus, and spiritual connection.
