Product Details

Cardamom essential oil is warm and sweet with a rich, spicy aroma and woody undertones. Comforting yet refreshing, it helps to clarify, uplift and energise the mind and can be used to support the body through recovery from illness.

Emotionally
Cardamom is invigorating and mentally clarifying. It helps to refresh a lethargic mind and make you feel energised when you're feeling sluggish or depleted. Its warm, spicy scent can also help to strengthen emotional resilience.

Physically
Cardamom can be used to ease coughs, congestion and respiratory discomfort when inhaled. When used in a massage blend, it can also help to relieve stomach cramps, indigestion and soothe tired muscles or joints. It’s especially supportive during recovery from illness, when the body needs extra care.

Around the home
Cardamom's rich, comforting scent is perfect for creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Add 6–8 drops to your Aroma Spa Diffuser to gently refresh the air and support your wellbeing, naturally.

Cardamom essential oil is warm and spicy with a rich, strengthening aroma.

Aromatically, Cardamom is a middle note essential oil, the main body and balance of a blend, meaning its scent will last a few hours. It blends well with Rosemary, Sandalwood or Bergamot.

Cardamom essential oil is extracted from the fragrant seed pods of the Elettaria cardamomum plant, which is native to India and now grown commercially throughout Asia.

The fragrance is concentrated in its pods, which contain the small, dark brown, pungent seeds that contain Cardamom's therapeutic essential oil. This spice has been used in traditional Ayurvedic therapies to support the body through viruses and soothe digestive complaints.
