For so many of us, mindfulness has become a vital part of our self-care and well-being routines. It’s not just about taking time out, it’s about checking in with yourself processing how you’re feeling and without having to explain yourself or have judgment. It is simply about being present with yourself. Practising mindfulness can be so many things, which means it is accessible to all. Mindfulness practices do normally involve breathing methods or techniques, meditation, and other ways that truly relax the body and mind and help reduce stress. For example, yoga, breathwork, stretching or focusing on a really good book. Here we look at a few mindful techniques that can be enhanced by the perfect essential oil blend for you.

This can be on a particular object, thought, or action, and can be voice-guided, practised to music or in complete silence, it very much depends on how your mind likes to work. The idea is to train your attention and awareness so that you achieve a mentally clear and calm state. Some people who use the practice of chakras also refer to this exercise as opening the third eye, or third eye chakra, to clear the mind.
